Okay, I have to let you in on a great program: Randy’s Vinyl Tap. Saturday nights at home can rock if you listen to this CBC Radio program at 7:00 and 8:00 PM. Each week Randy has a different theme. This week it’s “Clapping and Snapping” and he’s playing music from several decades, with a focus on Rock music, of course. A big surprise was Gene Autry’s “Deep in the Heart of Texas.” Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and the Car’s “Let’s Go” are two anthem/hand clapping songs that make you want to get up”and dance. The Rembrandts’ “I’ll Be There For You,” better known as the Friends’ theme, finished this week’s program.
